Meet Your Photographer
Thank you for stopping by and considering me for your photography needs. My name is Manny. I have loved photography since I was a toddler. The first camera I remember is my parents’ point-and-shoot Canon film camera. It would travel everywhere with us. I remember my folks dropping off undeveloped film at a local pharmacy, then returning to flip through photos in the parking lot to see if anyone had their eyes closed.
Our transition to digital photography was exciting. My mom found a Black Friday deal for a red point-and-shoot Canon camera and we planned our trip to get the camera (this was before online shopping existed). We arrived to the store three hours early to secure our place in line. As soon as the doors opened, we (and seemingly everyone else in line) rushed to track down the coveted camera. We were successful in our quest and I was able to borrow this camera on many school field trips.
I remember purchasing my first camera while in college (a Canon Powershot Sx230 SH) and using it to take photos for events held by the Chemistry Club. I dubbed myself the club’s unofficial historian. After graduation, I upgraded to a Canon DSLR and began taking more photos at family gatherings and school events. Eventually friends, family, and my fiancé encouraged me to offer photography services and I love them for the push! I live in Nebraska and most of my family is in Arizona, which is why I primarily offer services between these two states. I would be happy to travel anywhere if you believe I am the photographer for you!
If you look through the Q&A page, you’ll notice that I have a discount available for educators. Between photo projects, I work full time as a science teacher and understand the struggle. Thank you for reading, and please feel free to reach out with any questions!
